About Kevin

Kevin Rosenblum

You learn fast when your decisions determine whether people live or die.

This is what Kevin Rosenblum learned: Lead from the front, by example; earn respect through actions; the best leaders aren’t those that bark orders and demand blind loyalty—the best leaders build other leaders. Kevin spent five years as a Lieutenant, then Captain, in the U.S. Army serving two tours of duty in Iraq, where he was awarded a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart.

It’s this vision of leadership that Kevin brings to his work as a Facilitator with Frontier Academy. He’ll never talk at you, because he believes that each workshop should be a conversation geared towards growing together. Fueled by a passion for constant learning, he relishes the opportunity to share that learning with others, then see the results empower them in their work and lives.

After leaving the Army, he helped organize a new office in the Defense Logistics Agency, providing logistics to the entire Department of Defense. Later, he trained civilian advisors in preparation for their deployment in Afghanistan as part of the Ministry of Defense Advisors' Program, and managed a global supply chain as the Director of Operations for the upscale men’s apparel brand Alton Lane.

You’ll see Kevin’s ethos in the way he cares for the participants in his workshops, and the way he spends his free time. He is an avid off-road triathlete, and is active in Team Red, White and Blue, a national non-profit organization that focuses on veteran physical and mental wellness, as well as the Virginia Home for Boys and Girls (he even biked with President George W. Bush in the Warrior 100k). When he’s not racing, you might find him with his nose buried in a le Carre spy novel, indulging in HGTV’s Fixer Upper, or spending time with his wife and young son. His next big race? The XTERRA World Championships (both he and his wife have qualified) this Fall in Maui.
