mike fraizer

Mike is a senior advisor and board member of Frontier Health. Through our Frontier Envoy unit, Mike provides occasional counsel to clients on market expansion, nationally and internationally.

If we’re advising on strategic partnerships, joint ventures and acquisitions, or business repositioning then Mike’s likely involved.  He’s likewise active in helping shape and raise capital for new businesses and early stage companies through Frontier Ventures and his operating advisor role at Blue Heron Capital. While officially based out of our Richmond studio, you may well see him in our other locations bringing together partners or investors on behalf of Frontier or our clients.

Prior to his work in the new ventures arena, Mike had a wide ranging career across US and numerous international markets as President of GE Japan, CEO of GE Capital Commercial Real Estate, CEO of GE Financial Assurance, Chairman and CEO of Genworth Financial and serving as a board member of GE Capital.

Passionate about the intersection of sports, business, education and youth development, Mike recently chaired the task force to bring the Washington Redskins training camp to Richmond, is co-owner of the Richmond Raiders professional indoor football team, is a member of the Andre Agassi Foundation For Education Advisory Board, and serves on the Board of Visitors of Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) whose campus is home to the  Mary & Frances Youth Center created by Mike and his wife Elizabeth through a partnership with VCU.  Weekday mornings at the coffee machine you’re likely to find him in intense argument with Ry and Ibrahim over college football, Scott about rugby or Alan and Ned about the merits of the latest public or private health initiative.
